Begin with the end in mind:

Today I will crank through all these Optimist Theatre contact cards.  PARTIAL CHECK.

We will create a realistic deadline for the rest of the repairs on the Racine duplex.   CHECK!

I will obtain a deadline for the Caper Company website updates to be completed.  CHECK!

There’s lots of other stuff on my desk – today is Optimist Theatre day – and I’ll work on it but these are my major goals.

These goals all support my primary function.  Cash flow.

Significantly,

Susan Scot Fry

Update…  The most important contact card was processed – which leaves only an enormous stack left.

I read a novel about a writer who had to churn out a certain number of pages every day.  On days when the muse had left the building, he described the discipline as squeezing his brain.  He couldn’t indulge himself in “I just don’t feel like it” days.  It was a job.

I need to cultivate brain squeezing.
