Pick up the pace. That’s my wish.
Let me think about that for a moment… Or twenty…
It’s an odd dichotomy. I do a lot. And whatever I’ve assigned myself to do will consume all the time available in which to do it.
One of the reasons I started waddling again is to increase my turnover. In running, that’s the frequency of my footfalls. In life, it’s my rate and capacity for the tasks at hand. I want to do a lot with my life and there’s a finite time to do it. I’d better get faster.
It feels great to be getting out again. It’s only been a week and my energy level is up. Granted, yesterday was an “I am overflowing with a muzzy distemper” day — not that anyone could tell — I hope — ah, well…. But, overall it’s better.
So, let’s try to translate this into a faster task turnover.
Tomorrow.
Maybe Monday.
To everything, turn, turn, turn…
Significantly,
Susan Scot Fry
Update… This will take a bit more than a day to realize. I also think I’m being very hard on myself again.
