I can do this, if I’m smart about it. If I time things just right.
I have X number of functioning brain cells and by Y o’clock they are depleted. Sooo, I do my ‘thinkin’ work before then. Simple!
We’ve had a great outpouring of silent auction items for Brave New World. Each donation needs and deserves some presentation. For me, that means words. I essentially need to write ad copy — which I enjoy doing — but which is impossible to do when I can’t form complete sentences.
Back in the day, there was a costumer who’s stern stuff was legend. She used to say in a thick Aussie accent, “Sleep is for the weak.” It’s such an addicting phrase, that I revel in saying it in my thick, faux Aussie. At the moment, it’s coming out like “Schlifiz fatha wik.” Lost in translation between my furry brain and fuzzy tongue.
Gotta run. My minutes are ticking.
Let’s see what I manage to cram in before it’s t o o l a t e . . .
Significantly,

Update…
Using the little gray cells to create a structure for the rest of the day helped tons. By the time Y o’clock hit (earlier than I’d expected) I had a formula to fall back on.
Now, I just need to keep plugging away. And, I’ve got friends — good friends. And, they’re helping. I get by with a little help from my friends. Sing it, Ringo.
(Did I mention punchy…?)
